We all think about increasing immunity to illness. Did you know we can also build immunity to the inevitable stresses life throws our way? Learn practices to increase emotional strength and flexibility that enhance our ability to overcome stress, to thrive and to flourish. This course offers 2 classes which can be taken individually, though we encourage participation in both. Class I will focus on Creating Your Inner Sanctuary. Class II will focus on Letting go — Identifying What We Can and CanNOT Control.
Resilience Class I: Creating Your Inner Sanctuary
Creating an image that evokes a sense of security and peace results in a sense of emotional calm and fosters neurological changes that increase our capacity to adapt to stress. This class helps you to develop practices and tools to support living a life filled with peace and calm and allows for the release of stress and strain.
Resilience Class II: Letting go — Identifying What I can control and What I canNOT
Ask this one question, “Do I have control over “x” or not?”
If yes — then planning and taking action will enhance adaptation and reduce stress, worry, anxiety.
If no — then practices which promote acceptance and letting go also will reduce stress, anxiety and worry.
The practices you will learn in this class reduce the stress and strain of spinning your wheels, trying to affect change that is not in your control.
